Echo-Matières explores the sensitive power of materials—wood, textile, metal, or clay—revealing how they continue to resonate long after their transformation by the artist. The exhibition highlights their tactile memory: roughness, softness, densities that awaken buried emotions and create an intimate experience. The works, whether figurative or abstract, communicate through their perceptual charge rather than their style. Inspired by phenomenology, Echo-Matières considers matter as a critical and relational force rather than a simple medium. Each artistic gesture acts as an activation: it brings out layers, tensions, and latent traces, transforming physical properties into a living experience.
Finally, the project brings together two forms of presence :
- The sensory illusion of figurative works (paintings imitating wood, engravings evoking fabric, etc.)
- The raw materiality of abstract approaches (textures, tactile installations, etc.)
This juxtaposition shows that suggestion can sometimes resonate as deeply as real matter within our bodily memory.
To submit your artworks:

- Send it by e‑mail, along with images of your artworks in 300 dpi and a brief presentation of your artistic approach (maximum 400 characters), to: contact@hybridscrib.com
